Chepang Hill trek

Chepang Hill trek is the most popular trekking routes in Chitwan that passes through the Chepang villages. The unexplored hill trail is a new attraction in Chitwan and this trail as the name signifies has a settlement of the Chepang people who are some of the most backward and endangered communities in Nepal. It is less touristic and new trekking trail where there are no guest houses and lodges on the way to trekking. This is one of the most unique and recent trekking routes around the mid-hills of Nepal. The trek covers the diverse range of land topography, unseen and hidden culture of nomadic Chepang people, hospitality and craftsmanship which includes homemade wine and honey. Trekking to this route takes you through one of the charming villages of Nepal’s hills and also gives an opportunity to know about the culture in this region. They have a unique settlement, social organization, language, culture, religion, and festival.
