Chulu East Peak Climbing is one of the most demanding and highly rated expeditions of the Annapurna region. It is the mutual combination of trekking trail around the Annapurna massif, mounting the Marshyangdi valley and passing the Thorong La. This peak climbing offers amazing scenery of different mountains of Nepal. This expedition is usually both technically and physically very challenging activity. To climb peak you will need to have basic mountaineering skills. It is one of the popular and most well like adventure activities. This is one of the most gorgeous peaks in the whole Himalayas. The climb to this peak climbing is a strenuous climb therefore previous experience in climbing is required. This is the perfect combination of the classic trek around the Annapurna massif and adventurous peak climbing. This peak is very famous for climbing. The main mountains in this area are Manaslu Himal, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna and the mysterious and veiled land of Mustang, closed until just recently, lies to the north. The diversity of greenery along the trail of this Annapurna region until arriving at this peak climbing unimaginable which gives you an unforgettable challenging experience for those who have dreamed about mountaineering.

Chulu East Peak Climbing is the most enthralling adventures that one can venture into. As most of the climbing will involve walking roped together along with the glacier crossing. Through it is not necessary to have previous experience to climb certain trekking peak. The beautiful trekking trails but we have a great variety of experiences to offer to the visitor and the diversity of the Nepalese people is no less remarkable. You will get the chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, natural hot spring which gives makes your journey more adventurous and enjoyable. We get the chance to know about the culture, traditions and the lifestyle of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali peoples who are the local inhabitant of this route. We get a chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain which includes Mt Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and many other mountains of this route. The Himalayan peaks on the vicinity of the highest mountain of the world have been always great attractions and climbing them is the dream for many mountain climbers. Walking through the lush green forest and beautiful valleys of the Annapurna regions with the unique settlement which indeed looks like a slice of heaven on the earth. The perfect season for an expedition in this route is between March to June and September to December.

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Besi Sahar to Chame

Day 03: Chyamche to Dharapani (1860m) 5-6 hrs

Day 04: Dharapani to Chame (2670m) 5-6 hrs

Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3200m) 5-6 hrs

Day 06: Pisang to Ngawal village (3657m) 3-4 hrs

Day 07: Rest in Ngawal

Day 08: Ngawal to Chulu East Base Camp (3910m) 4-5 hrs

Day 09: Rest day in Base Camp

Day 10: Base Camp – Chulu east High Camp (4955m) 4-5 hrs

Day 11: Summit the Chulu East Peak and return base camp 9-10 hrs

Day 12: Chulu East Base camp trek to Manang (3560m) 5-6 hrs

Day 13: Manang trek to Letdar (4200m) 4-5 hrs

Day 14: Lether – Thorung Phedi (4450m) or puss up High camp (4700m) 4-5 hrs

Day 15: Trek over the Thorung -La pass (5,416m) to Muktinath (3800m) 8-9 hrs

Day 16: Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) 4-5 hrs

Day 17: Jomsom flight back to Pokhara

Day 18: Drive or Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m) 5-6 hrs

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest. 

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Besi Sahar to Chyamche 7-8 hrs

We will drive towards Besi Sahar after having a hot breakfast in the hotel of Kathmandu valley. After reach in Besi Sahar, we will have our lunch and slowly start our trekking towards Chyamche where we will spend one night. 

Day 03: Chyamche to Dharapani (1860m) 5-6 hrs

If the hotel is able to make breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and start our walking. We will have great views of the mountain, landscapes, and all the way and we have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Dharapani where we will spend one night.

Day 04: Dharapani to Chame (2670m) 5-6 hrs

On the way, we will have a great view of the Himalayas including Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. And we will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Chame and spend overnight.   

Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3200m) 5-6 hrs

The district center teems with lodges, modern fast food or cyber cafe. Before reaching Pisang, we have to cross many suspension bridges and waterfall on the way. And we will reach Pisang where we will spend one night.   

Day 06: Pisang to Ngawal village (3657m) 3-4 hrs

On this trail, we will have an opportunity for the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way and take some rest then after we will slowly start our trekking towards Ngawal village where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Rest in Ngawal

Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Ngawal village. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Ngawal Village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.

Day 08: Ngawal to Chulu East Base Camp (3910m) 4-5 hrs

The views are dramatic, to say the least from the snow-capped mountains to the heads of the Kali Gandaki valley below and the brown and purple hills on the Mustang which is spread out before us. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Chulu East Base Camp where we will spend one night. 

Day 09: Rest day in Base Camp  

Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Base Camp. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Base Camp and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.

Day 10: Base Camp - Chulu East High Camp (4955m) 4-5 hrs

Having a hot breakfast in the hotel of Base Camp we will slowly start our trekking towards Chulu East High Camp. On the route, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, old monasteries, and the wonderful natural scenery before reaching Chulu East High Camp.  

Day 11: Summit the Chulu East Peak and return base camp 9-10 hrs

Early in the morning around 4 o clocks, we will start our trekking. Today we will start our too early because today we have to Summit Chulu East Peak and also come back to base camp. Today is one of the toughest days of our trekking.   

Day 12: Chulu East Base camp trek to Manang (3560m) 5-6 hrs

From here, there are two routes to heading towards Manang. We begin to notice a contrast in the landscapes and vegetation from today. The people are basically traders though partially engaged in Farming.    

Day 13: Manang trek to Letdar (4200m) 4-5 hrs

We make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marshyangdi village. The trail follows this valley northward, passing a few pastures and scrub of juniper trees as it’s steadily gained elevations.  

Day 14: Trek to Thorung Phedi (4450m)) 4-5 hrs

It is an uphill walk to Thorang Phedi. It takes almost 3 to 4 hrs to reach Thorang Phedi from Letdar where we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountains and landscapes on the way. 

Day 15: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) 8-9 hrs

The views are dramatic, to say the least from the snow-capped mountains to the heads of the Kali Gandaki valley below and the brown and purple hills on the Mustang which is spread out before us. 

Day 16: Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) 4-5 hrs

We leave Muktinath for Jomsom. We will continue our trek walking by the bank of Kali Gandaki River and we will descend the closer views of Stupas and old traditional houses and civilizations.  

Day 17: Jomsom flight back to Pokhara

Early in the morning, we will walk drive towards the local airport of Jomsom to fly towards Pokhara. After reach in Pokhara, first of all, we will check out the hotel then after have our lunch and explore all around the city and spend one night in this beautiful city.

Day 18: Drive to Kathmandu (1350m) 5-6 hrs

In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive back towards the Kathmandu valley by the same route. After 6 to 7 hrs drive from Pokhara, we will reach Kathmandu valley. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.   

Day 19: Final departure

With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
