Overview

Ganesh Himal Trek is non-tourist trekking trail in Nepal which is located at mostly in the north-central part of Nepal but some peaks of this range lie on the border with Tibet. Throughout the trek, you will see spectacular mountain views and experiences the different culture of the region. The trekking route of this trekking passes through beautiful peaks, hot spas, Georges and the dense forest and meadows. The spectacular remote camping trip to this Himal trek follows the least trodden trail far from the madding crowd in the central Himalayan range of Nepal. Only a few trekkers have explored the area so the culture is rich and the lifestyle has not changed, everything is a virgin you can say it is real Nepal. The terraced hillside seems to climb to the sky. Trekking in this route provides you with the opportunity to explore the exotic view of its flora and fauna. A Himal trek is a true pleasure of walking in the less travailed trails to a heavenly paradise that lies somewhere in between lush hills and forests in the backdrop of beautiful Himalayan ranges. At the backdrop, magnificent Himalayan ranges can be seen along the trail. A breathtaking goes through a little-explored area of Nepal with stunning scenery and friendly villagers.

Ganesh Himal Trek is one of the most isolated and least explored areas of Nepal’s Himalayas. The trekking trail takes you all the way through the emerald hills, beautiful Tamang village, terraces fields with golden rice and mustard, natural hot water stream, with the forest of blue pine, oak and Rhododendron forest adding beauty to the path. During the time of trekking, we get an opportunity to know about the Tamang people. We get a chance to know about the tradition, culture, and lifestyle of the Tamang people who are the local inhabitant of this route. It is an exciting trek that lets you experiences the beauty of vibrant villages, picturesque mountains, glacier and spectacular landscape. Through the trek is a relatively strenuous, people with good physical fitness can complete the track. Ruby Valley Via Ganesh Himal passes through quite Tamang village, hot spa, gorges, diverse rich flora, fauna, and we will observe the rich Nepalese cultural traditions from the closest quarter with local people. It has an outstanding variety of plant life and animals with 300 species of birds and 526 species of plants including 40 kinds of orchids. The perfect season for trekking in this route is between March to May and September to December.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive to Betrawati (850m)

Day 03: Trek to Kispang (1600m) 5-6 hrs

Day 04: Trek to Thulo Chaur (2200m)

Day 05: Trek to Gonga (2900m) 5-6 hrs

Day 06: Trek to Rupchet (3635m) 4-5 hrs

Day 07: Trek to Kharka (2500m) 5-6 hrs

Day 08: Trek to Borang (1800m) 5-6 hrs

Day 09: Trek to Jharlang (1700m) 5-6 hrs

Day 10: Trek to Kintang Phedi (1200m) 6-7 hrs

Day 11: Drive to Dhading Besi to Kathmandu by Public bus or Jeep

Day 12: Final departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest. 

Day 02: Drive to Betrawati (850m)

Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will slowly drive towards Betrawati. It takes 6 hrs to reach Betrawti from Kathmandu valley. At the time of trekking, we will drive from Trishuli Bazaar and spend one night in this land.

Day 03: Trek to Kispang (1600m) 5-6 hrs

Today our trail is uphill and we follow mostly the way gently up. We walk on this day have an easy, gentle walk today from side to side with farmland and villages to arrive at Kispang where we will go spend overnight.      

Day 04: Trek to Thulo Chaur (2200m)

We leave Kispang for Thulo Chaur after having breakfast in the hotel. At the time of this day trekking, we will pass through monastery, farms, and waterfalls before reaching Thulo Chaur where we will spend one night.

Day 05: Trek to Gonga (2900m) 5-6 hrs

At the beginning uphill walk and gradual uphill through rhododendron forest, pine, expectantly you may mark several wild lives as we walk. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards our destination where we will spend one night.

Day 06: Trek to Rupchet (3635m) 4-5 hrs

Today we meet the village with Tamang ethnic groups with fabulous mountain views. On the route, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes.

Day 07: Trek to Kharka (2500m) 5-6 hrs

We start our trekking towards Kharka after having a hot breakfast. Today we will have a steep walk up to the Shing La pass from here where we have a great opportunity to see the mountain which includes Mt Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and Manaslu Himal.

Day 08: Trek to Borang (1800m) 5-6 hrs

The journey is steep down through land terrace and villages to Borang. The walk from Kharka is steeply down way all the way through the terraced farm and a number of picturesque villages. 

Day 09: Trek to Jharlang (1700m) 5-6 hrs

We start our trekking after having breakfast in the hotel. On the way, we will have a great view of the mountain and landscapes before reaching Jharlang where will spend one night.  

Day 10: Trek to Kintang Phedi (1200m) 6-7 hrs

It takes almost 7 hrs to reach Kintang Phedi from Jharlang. The journey takes us to the Kintang Phedi all the downhill walk through the small village. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Kintang Phedi where will spend one night.

Day 11: Drive to Dhading Beshi and drive to Kathmandu (1345m)

Today we will drive towards Dhading Beshi after having breakfast in the morning. After reach in Dhading Beshi, we will have our lunch and drive towards Kathmandu valley. It takes 3 hrs to reach Kathmandu from Dhading Beshi. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.

Day 12: Final departure

With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
