Jiri to Everest Base camp Trek is a combination of enthralling mountain views and Buddhist culture on the high windswept valley of Khumbu. Jiri to Everest Base camp Trek is the most traditional trekking trail of the Everest region. This is the most exciting trekking destination in Everest region walking through the historical Sherpa villages and green meadows with the breathtaking landscape. A wide range of mountain scenery of Nepal combined with unique cultural encounters with the Sherpa people and their rich culture which is closely tied to Buddhism. The trail then drops through farmland and Sherpa villages. The scenery is simply breathtaking with parades of glistening peaks, stunning glacier around, ancient and ornate monasteries with the fascinating Sherpa people and their culture and traditions. The monastery is the largest Gompa in the Khumbu region in Nepal with a wonderful mountain view. Most of the people in the vicinity are Sherpa’s and you will amaze you with the stunning views of the mountain which include Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu, and many other mountains of this route. We will enter the Sagarmatha National Park which is the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna and you will consider it for an entire life. The perfect season for trekking in this beautiful region is between February to April and September to December.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Drive to Jiri (187 km) 8 hrs
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will drive towards Jiri after the wonderful night in Kathmandu valley. We will take our lunch on the way then take some rest and slowly dive towards Jiri where we will spend one night.
Day 03: Jiri to Bhandar (2,200 m) 6 hrs
We start our adventurous trek and this trail offers us beautifully countryside scenery from each ridge. On the route, you will get a wonderful view of the mountain and landscapes before reaching Bhandar where we will spend overnight.
Day 04: Bhandar to Sete (2,645 m) 6 hrs
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Sete after the wonderful night in the Bhandar. It takes almost 6 hrs to reach Sete from Bhandar.
Day 05: Sete to Junbensi (2,675 m) 6 hrs
Today the trail passes gradually up through Lamjura pass. It is the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, oak, and pine.
Day 06: Junbensi to Nunthala (2,440 m) 5 hrs
We leave Junbensi for Nunthala after having breakfast in the morning in the hotel. We will slowly move towards Nunthala bypassing many suspensions bridges and landscapes and we will spend overnight in Nunthala.
Day 07: Nunthala to Kharikhola (2,020 m) 5 hrs
From here, our trail descends which continues to the Dudhkoshi River Bridges. The trail leads through terraced field and yards of houses. We will cross several picturesque streams on wooden bridges just before reaching Kharikhola and spend overnight in this land.
Day 08: Kharikhola to Puiyan (2,700 m) 6 hrs
Having breakfast early in the morning in the hotel, we will slowly move towards Puiyan. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, oak, pine before reaching Puiyan where we will spend overnight.
Day 09: Puiyan to Phakding (2,646 m) 5 hrs
From here, the scenery of the mountain in all directions is breathtaking. On the way, we have a great view of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and we have crossed many suspension bridges then after we will reach Phakding and spend overnight.
Day 10: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) 5 hrs
We will walk to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. We will cross many suspension bridges of this route. Our trail takes us first over the Dudh Koshi River and then through a beautiful pine forest of Monjo. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend overnight.
Day 11: Rest day in Namche Bazaar
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Namche Bazaar. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 12: Trek to Phorste Thanga (3,680 m) 5 hrs
Spending the wonderful night in Namche Bazaar we will slowly move towards Phortse after having breakfast in the hotel. We get an opportunity to see the monastery on the way while this day trekking and spend overnight in Phortse.
Day 13: Trek to Machherma (4,470 m) 5 hrs
Our trail passes through forests, waterfalls, and bridges. The beautiful stream flowing down from the Kyajo Ri and Phari Lapche mountains runs through the middle of the village before draining into the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 14: Trek to Gokyo (4,790 m) 5 hrs
We leave Thangna for Gokyo after having breakfast early in the morning in the hotel. This valley stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountains as a backdrop set an amazing spectacular sight at this Junction and spends overnight in this land.
Day 15: Rest day in Gokyo
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Gokyo Ri. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Gokyo Ri and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 16: Trek to Thangna (4,500 m) 4 hrs
From here, the scenery of the mountain in all directions is breathtaking. On the way, we have a great view of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and we have crossed many suspension bridges then after we will reach Thangna and spend overnight.
Day 17: Cross the Cho La Pass (5,300 m), then trek to Dzongla (4,710 m) 7 hrs
From here, the trek descends to Dzongla. We will have our lunch on the way then after taking some rest. We will have a great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain before reaching Dzongla where we will spend overnight.
Day 18: Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m) 4 hrs
Early in the morning, we will slowly move towards Lobuche after having breakfast in the hotel of Dzongla. The trail passes through boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara which is a Ridge that proves spectacular mountain views.
Day 19: Trek to Gorak Shep 5hrs
Today we will explore base camp and its surroundings glacier and return back to Gorak Shep. We enjoy incredible melt pattern and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of Khumbu glacier.
Day 20: Hike up to Kala Patthar and trek down to Pheriche (4,200 m) 6 hrs
We wake up early in the morning for a walk up to the Kala Patthar. Mornings are usually sparkling and clear and this is the best time to climb the Kala Patthar. After exploring all around the Kala Patthar, from there we will trek towards Pheriche where we will spend overnight.
Day 21: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) 5 hrs
Today a steep descent takes us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.
Day 22: Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) 6 hrs
We leave Namche Bazaar to move towards Lukla. Today is the last day trekking in the Everest region? From Namche Bazaar, it takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Lukla. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Lukla where we spend one night.
Day 23: Fly back to Kathmandu
We will take early the morning flight to Kathmandu valley from the airport of Lukla. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 24: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
