Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek is a cultural trek through vibrant Tamang villages in Langtang with beautiful panoramic views of the mountain. This is untraveled trekking trail lies between Langtang and Massif Ganesh Himal which is appreciating as a full of surprises trail. To explore the untouched and newly discovered trekking trails in the Langtang region and if offers an off the beaten track experience, things to see an ancient lifestyle combining it with the scenic view and healing bath in natural hot springs. The local people believe the hot water have the healing quality that eases away your aches and pains. The people in this area have a culture, tradition, and religion that go back hundreds of years and the craftsmanship. We will be rewarded with outstanding views of the Himalayas and get acquainted with the culture and tradition of the Tamang. This culturally significant trek travels through the charming and culturally rich villages of the Tamang people. The Himalayan views are great and this route is less crowded than other trekking regions. In Nepal, this trekking is the perfect way of enjoying your life with awesome memories. The trail is one of the unique off-the-beaten paths of hiking in Nepal.
Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek takes you to the green midland of Nepal experiences wilderness experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine terrain, flat meadows, and rhododendron. The starting point and the ending point of this trekking route are from Syabrubesi. We enjoy classic Langtang valley combined with Tamang culture trek in the Langtang region which offers the wonderful views of the mountain which can be seen from the Langtang region. Many people of this route have an interest in Tibetan lifestyle and most of the people of this route are influenced by Buddhism. While heading to this route, we pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak. We will have a great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain which is also the pride of this beautiful Himalayan landscapes. We will enter the Langtang National Park which is also known as the home of rare animals, birds, flora, and fauna. All these treks offer spectacular scenery and the close-up view of the Himalaya. You will get the chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, natural hot spring which gives makes your journey more adventurous and enjoyable. The perfect times for trekking in this wonderful land are between February to April and September to December.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m) 8-9 hrs
We will drive towards Syabrubes after having breakfast in the hotel where you have spent last night. On the way, we will get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes before reaching Syabrubesi and spend one night in this beautiful village.
Day 03: Trek to Gatlang (2,200m) 5 hrs
Today is the first-day walking trekking of Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek where we walk from Syabrubesi to Gatlang. We will hike across the Goljung village enjoying views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes and we will have our lunch on the way and slowly move towards Gatlang.
Day 04: Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m) 6-7 hrs
You have an opportunity to experiences some important facets of the Tamang culture. On the route, we will have a chance to take a bath in the natural hot spring. We will have our lunch on the way and then take some rest in that hotel and slowly move towards Lama Hotel where we will spend one night.
Day 05: Tatopani to Thuman (2,400m) 6 hrs
This will be the longest trekking day. Passing through the dense alpine forest, we reach the small Tamang settlement of Brimdang. It takes almost 6 hrs to reach Thuman from Tatopani and spend overnight in Thuman.
Day 06: Thuman to Briddim (2,345m) 6 hrs
Today our destination is one of the most popular home stay destinations in Nepal. On the route, we get an opportunity to know about the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the Tamang people.
Day 07: Heading to Lama Hotel (2470m) 6 hrs
We walk from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel after having breakfast in the morning. We will have our lunch on the way and then take some rest in that hotel and slowly move towards Lama Hotel where we will spend one night.
Day 08: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430m) 6-7 hrs
Our trail continues ascending from Lama Hotel and enjoys the mountain landscapes with abundant waterfalls. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, oak, pine, hemlock high above the Langtang Khola.
Day 09: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) 4 hrs
The trail winds through the villages and climbs a ridge topped by a large Chorten. We also pass by water mills, prayers Chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them.
Day 10: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,380m) 4-5 hrs
After having breakfast early in the morning, we will walk back to Lama Hotel. We will have a great view of the mountain at the time of trekking and we will have our lunch on the way and slowly start our trekking towards the Lama Hotel where we will spend overnight.
Day 11: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
The trail is mostly downhill through the lush green forest and vegetation with enjoying the wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way and slowly start our trekking towards Syabrubesi where we will spend overnight.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu
In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive back towards the Kathmandu valley by the same route. After 7 to 8 hrs drive from Syabrubesi, we will reach Kathmandu valley. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 13: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
