Rolwaling Tashilapcha Pass Trek is a beautiful journey that combines the glory of both Rolwaling valleys. It is an amazing mixture of the quiet and quaint paths of the remote this region with bustling trails of the Khumbu region. Though agriculture used to be their occupations in the past nowadays they are mostly inclined towards tourism. It is more a pilgrimage than a trek. This is also the coldest of the major treks. The culture in this particular area of great notebook stuff and interacting with the local folks puts more zest into your adventurous journey as you plod through the Khumbu region of Nepal. Mt Everest is the world highest mountain in the worlds. Trekking in this route is the most popular region because of best trekking route which is popular and spectacular trekking in Nepal. In this region trekking compasses many other treks which lead us through the forest. The cross of this high passes provides truly wilderness off-the-beaten-path travel experience. Most of the time, the pass always have snow.

Rolwaling Tashilapcha Pass Trek is a challenging trekking destination in the Everest region which is located in the eastern part of Nepal. The pass is perhaps the most difficult in this region, so a high level of fitness and stamina is required. It offers lots of mountaineering challenges to the adventure. This is a strenuous journey that should be undertaken by those with high-altitude trekking experiences. During the time of trekking, we will explore Sherpa villages, landscapes, small villages, and old monasteries of this route. We get the chance to know about the lifestyle, tradition, and culture of the Sherpa people who are the local inhabitant of this route. The starting point of this route is Lukla after 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu valley. Lukla is the gateway to the Everest region. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, oak, and we will have plenty of opportunities to visit monasteries and Sherpa homes of the region. The trek is a true adventure with scenery so beautiful that it will never tire you. We will enter the Sagarmatha National Park which is the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna and you will consider it for an entire life. The perfect season for trekking in this route is between March to May and September to December.

Day 09: Rest Day at Na

Day 14: Trek back Tashi Lapcha high camp to Thyomgbo (4350m) 5-6 hrs

Day 15: Trek back Thyomgbo to Thame (3820m) 6-7 hrs

Day 16: Trek back Thame to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 4-5 hrs

Day 17: Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2800m) 6-7 hrs.

Day 18: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.   

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Dolakha (1660m) 7-8 hrs

We will drive towards Dolakha city after having a hot breakfast in the hotel of Kathmandu valley. During the time of travel, you get an opportunity to see the small city of Nepal, wonderful landscapes, majestic views of the mountain, and many other things on the route. After 7 to 8 hrs drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Dolakha where we will spend overnight.

Day 03: Trek Dolakha to Shigati (950m) 6-7 hrs

Our first-day walking trek starts from today because today we start our journey by walking towards Shigati. We have to cross many suspension bridges and waterfalls including several ascents and descents across rice paddies and a subtropical forest before reaching Shigati where we will spend one night. 

Day 04: Trek Shigati to Jagat (1440m) 6-7 hrs

A wonderful walk with such changes in scenery and a range of gradients is beginning from today. We also pass through several small villages and a few temples on the way and there is also a waterfall nearby the bridges before reaching Jagat and spend one night.  

Day 05: Trek Jagat to Simigaon (2020m) 5-6 hrs

If the hotel is able to make breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and start our walking. We will have great views of the mountain, landscapes, and all the way and we have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Simigaon where we will spend one night.

Day 06: Trek to Daldung La (3976m) 6-7 hrs

After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly move towards Daldung La after spending the wonderful night in Simigaon. Today we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak before reaching Daldung La where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Trek to Beding (3690m) 6-7 hrs

Our trail gradually ascends uphill through beautiful forested villages of rhododendron trees and alpine vegetations. We will have our lunch in Nyamare village and slowly start our trekking towards Beding where we will spend one night.  

Day 08: Trek to Na (4180m) 4-5 hrs

Spending the wonderful night in Beding we will slowly move towards Na. Today is the short walking trekking where we have to just walk 4 to 5 hrs. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Na and spend one night.

Day 09: Rest Day at Na

Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Na. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Na and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.

Day 10: Trek to Tso Rolpa Lake (4540m) 5-6 hrs

We will have a great chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Tso Rolpa Lake where we will spend overnight.

Day 11: Trek to Trakarding Glacier (4800m) 5-6 hrs

The trek today is one of the most challenging and toughest because we have to walk through the icy. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Trakarding Glacier where we will spend one night.

Day 12: Trek to Tashi Lapcha Phedi (5010m) 5-6 hrs

From here, the trek descends to Tashi Lapcha Phedi. We will have a great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain before reaching Tashi Lapcha Phedi where we will spend overnight. 

Day 13: Trek to Tashi Lapcha high camp (5500m) 6-7 hrs

We will have a great chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Tashi Lapcha high camp where we will spend overnight.

Day 14: Trek to Thyomgbo (4350m) 5-6 hrs

Our trail continues ascending from Thyomgbo and enjoys the mountain landscapes with abundant waterfalls. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, oak, pine. And we will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards our destination where we will spend one night.   

Day 15: Trek to Thame (3820m) 6-7 hrs

We wake up early in the morning for a walk up to Thyomgbo. Mornings are usually sparkling and clear and this is the best time to climb Thyomgbo. After exploring all around Thyombo, from there we will trek towards Thame where we will spend overnight.

Day 16: Trek back Thame to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 4-5 hrs

Today a steep descent takes us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night. 

Day 17: Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2800m) 6-7 hrs.

We leave Namche Bazaar to move towards Lukla. Today is the last day trekking in the Everest region? From Namche Bazaar, it takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Lukla. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Lukla where we spend one night.

Day 18: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu

We will take early the morning flight to Kathmandu valley from the airport of Lukla. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.  

Day 19: Final departure

With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
