Everest Chola Pass Trek is the popular trekking destination in the Everest region. You may be inquisitive about the ethnic community of the Sherpa’s in this region. Everest Chola Pass Trek is one of the alternate options available to visit Everest Base Camp. This is so often hurried with dire consequences and this is high altitude trek with considerable time sleeping at high altitudes. This is an excellent trekking route and we will cross Chola pass and then descend down to Dzongla for another night. During the time of trekking, we will explore Sherpa villages, landscapes, small villages, and old monasteries of this route. We get the chance to know about the lifestyle, tradition, and culture of the Sherpa people who are the local inhabitant of this route. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, oak, and we will have plenty of opportunities to visit monasteries and Sherpa homes of the region. We will enter the Sagarmatha National Park which is the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna and you will consider it for an entire life. Most of the people in the vicinity are Sherpa’s and you will amaze you with the stunning views of the mountain which include Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu, and many other mountains of this route. The perfect season for trekking in this beautiful region is between February to May and September to November.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and then trek to Phakding (2,652m) - 3 hrs
We will drive towards the local airport of Kathmandu to take a mountain flight towards Lukla. After reach in Lukla, we will have our breakfast then after slowly move towards Phakding. On this time, we will walk down to the Dudh Koshi River where we connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar and spend overnight in Phakding.
Day 03: Heading to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 6 hrs
We will walk to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. We will cross many suspension bridges of this route. Our trail takes us first over the Dudh Koshi River and then through a beautiful pine forest of Monjo. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend overnight.
Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Namche Bazaar. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 05: Namche to Tengboche (3,860m) - 5 hrs
Spending the wonderful night in Namche Bazaar we will slowly move towards Tengboche after having breakfast in the hotel. We get an opportunity to see the monastery on the way while this day trekking and spend overnight in Tengboche.
Day 06: Tengboche to Pheriche (4,410m) - 5 hrs
Leaving Tengboche for Pheriche after having breakfast early in the morning and we can admire good views of the mountain. We get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain from the way. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards our destinations where we will spend overnight.
Day 07: Rest day in Pheriche
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Pheriche. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Pheriche and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 08: Pheriche to Lobuche (4,910m) - 5 hrs
Early in the morning, we will slowly move towards Lobuche after having breakfast in the hotel of Duglha. The trail passes through boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara which is a Ridge that proves spectacular mountain views.
Day 09: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp then to Gorakhshep (5,140m) - 8 hrs
Today we will explore base camp and its surroundings glacier and return back to Gorak Shep. We enjoy incredible melt pattern and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of Khumbu glacier.
Day 10: Gorakshep to Dzongla (4,830m) 7 hrs
From here, the trek descends to Dzongla. We will have a great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain before reaching Dzongla where we will spend overnight.
Day 11: Dzongla to Thangna (4,700m) 7 hrs
Our today’s trekking is one of the toughest trekking we ever have done. From here, the scenery of the mountain in all directions is breathtaking. On the way, we have a great view of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and we have crossed many suspension bridges then after we will reach Thangna and spend overnight.
Day 12: Thangna to Gokyo (4,750m) - 3 hrs
We leave Thangna for Gokyo after having breakfast early in the morning in the hotel. This valley stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountains as a backdrop set an amazing spectacular sight at this Junction and spends overnight in this land.
Day 13: Rest day in Gokyo Ri
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Gokyo Ri. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Gokyo Ri and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 14: Gokyo to Dole (4,084m) - 6 hrs
The trail descends towards the Dudh Koshi where we stop for Lunch near the bridges leading to the village of Phortse. We will have a great view of the mountain and have lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Dole where we will spend one night.
Day 15: Dole to Namche (3,440m) - 6 hrs
Today a steep descent takes us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.
Day 16: Namche to Lukla (2,800m) - 7 hrs
We leave Namche Bazaar to move towards Lukla. Today is the last day trekking in the Everest region? From Namche Bazaar, it takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Lukla. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Lukla where we spend one night.
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu
We will take early the morning flight to Kathmandu valley from the airport of Lukla. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 18: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
