Overview
Island Peak Climbing is one of the most challenging peaks climbing of Nepal which is located in the eastern part of the Solu Khumbu region. It is a beautiful mountain peak in the Everest region of the Himalayan and it offers us one of the most fascinating experiences of climbing the peak in Khumbu region. This peak climbing is probably one of the most mountaineer favorite trekking peaks in Nepal thus many adventure seekers chose this peak climbing for other mountain climbing or expeditions. This is not a highly technical climbing peak so to climb to this peak climbing. The peak climbing is straightforward with some technical section in the beginning and near to summit where our expert guide will make the necessary arrangement to make the climb safe and possible. This is where the peak its name from which offers an exhilarating climbing experience to the entire novice climbers as well as experienced trekkers. Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hours

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hours
We will drive towards the local airport of Kathmandu to take a mountain flight towards Lukla. After reach in Lukla, we will have our breakfast then after slowly move towards Phakding. On this time, we will walk down to the Dudh Koshi River where we connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar and spend overnight in Phakding.
Day 03: Walk to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hours
We will walk to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. We will cross many suspension bridges of this route. Our trail takes us first over the Dudh Koshi River and then through the beautiful pine forest of Monjo. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend overnight.
Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Namche Bazaar. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 05: Walk to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hours
Spending the wonderful night in Namche Bazaar we will slowly move towards Tengboche after having breakfast in the hotel. We get an opportunity to see the monastery on the way while this day trekking and spend overnight in Tengboche.
Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5 to 6 hours
Leaving Tengboche for Dingboche after having breakfast early in the morning and we can admire good views of the mountain. We get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain from the way. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards our destinations where we will spend overnight.
Day 07: Dingboche to Chhukung (4,730m) 3-4 hours
After reach in Chhukung, we will have our lunch and take some rest in this beautiful place. And we will slowly climb towards Chhukung Ri where we will spend overnight.
Day 08: Rest day in Chhukung
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Chhukung. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Chhukung and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 09: Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200m) 3-4 hours
In the early morning, we will start our trekking and we will have our breakfast in the way because today we will cross to Island Peak Base Camp. We can look directly across the valley for a fantastic view of the mountain.
Day 10: Rest day in Island Peak Base Camp
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Island Peak Base Camp. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Island Peak Base Camp and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 11: Island Peak Summit (6,189m), back to base camp 10-12 hours
Early in the morning, we will start our trekking because today we will summit Island Peak Base Camp. After summiting Island peak, we will have our lunch and slowly move towards Base Camp where we will spend one night.
Day 12: Island Peak Base Camp to Pangboche (3,985m) 5-6 hours
From here, the scenery of the mountain in all directions is breathtaking. On the way, we have a great view of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and we have crossed many suspension bridges then after we will reach Pangboche and spend overnight.
Day 13: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar 4-5 hours
Today a steep descent takes us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla 6-7 hours
We leave Namche Bazaar to move towards Lukla. Today is the last day trekking in the Everest region? From Namche Bazaar, it takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Lukla. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Lukla where we spend one night.
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu
We will take early the morning flight to Kathmandu valley from the airport of Lukla. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 16: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
