Overview
Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is more remote and spectacular than other treks which are located in the Manaslu region. Trekking in this wonderful offer beautiful Himalayan views of the mountain, landscapes, and a small village of this route. This trek takes you into the home of the world 8th highest mountain Mt Manaslu. This trek is getting more and more popular as a new trekking destination but it is still seeing fewer trekkers compared to the established trekking route in the Annapurna region. The local inhabitant and their cultures and traditions are also major attractions. This route is based in the Northern part of Nepal in Gorkha district. The valley is rich in ancient art, culture, religious and it adds a richly rewarding extension to the Manaslu trek. It is culturally fascinating with strong continuing links to Tibet in the upper Budi Gandaki River. This trekking route is reached on Buddhist culture whereas our trekking towards the remote region of Tsum. The glittering snow on the apex touching mountain peak is magnificent and the lush and wild landscapes of this valley will leave you in awe. Any visitor to the Manaslu and Tsum region will enjoy the amazing variety of geographical landscapes and cultural differences below the great peaks.
Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is newly opened trekking destinations of Nepal in Gorkha district where you will explore the less explored and hidden valleys of the Manaslu region. The valley people have their own way of family life which may be quite surprising for many outsiders. It is a fantastic experience as walk leads through tribal villages with interesting culture and simple way of life among the hill people in the shade of high mountains of Midwest Himalaya. Once in this trek, you will delve into the rich culture and natural beauty of the region which has a dominance of Tibetan culture. This is the unique combination of rich cultural heritage and adventure amidst vantage point with incomparable beauty and rare biodiversity. We will enter the Manaslu conservation area where we get a chance to see many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, the valley and its people have been overlooked by orthodox development for centuries. At the time of trekking, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain like Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Ngadi Chuli, Himal Chuli, and many other mountains of this route. The perfect season for trekking in this route is between March to May and September to December.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Drive to Barpak (2000m)
We will drive towards Barpak after having breakfast in the hotel where you have spent last night. On the way, we will get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes before reaching Barpak and spend one night in this beautiful village.
Day 03: Barpark to Laprak (2200m) 6-7 hrs
Today is the first walking day trekking and from we start our trekking by walking. We get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, not only that we have an opportunity to see the beautiful landscapes, small villages, and the forest rhododendron on the way. After a few hours walk, we will reach the place where we will have our dinner and slowly move towards Laprak where we will spend a night.
Day 04: Laprak to Khorlabeshi (875m) 7-8 hrs
We will have a great chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Khorlabeshi where we will spend overnight.
Day 05: Khorlabeshi to Jagat (1410m) 6 hrs
From Khorlabesi, we will reach Thulo Chaur which is one of the beautiful Gurung villages. The trail to the main village is surprisingly awesome along the slate pave trails. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Jagat where we will spend one night.
Day 06: Jagat to Philim (1,590m) 3hrs
The route climbs on a rugged rocky trail where we climb ups and downs ravines and notched trees. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Philim where we will spend one night.
Day 07: Philim to Chumling (2363m) 6-7 hours
The treks descend through the forest, crossing streams, before tackling a long and steep climb up the south side. The trail then gradually descends, beneath a spectacular waterfall, in the gorge below and a junction before reaching Chumling where we will spend overnight.
Day08: Chumling to Chokhangparo (3010m) 5-6 hours
Cross the suspension bridges onto the opposite bank where we enjoy the great views of Ganesh Himal. We will have our breakfast early in the morning and then we will take some rest and slowly move towards Chokhangparo where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Chokhangparo to Nile (3361m) 6-7 hours
Spending the wonderful night in Chokhangparo we will slowly move towards Nile. We will have a great view of the mountain and beautiful landscapes on the route. On the way, we will have our lunch and slowly move towards Nile where we will spend overnight.
Day 10: Nile to Bhajyo (4030m) 4 hours
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly move towards Bhajyo after spending the wonderful night in Nile. It takes almost 4 hrs to reach Bhajyo from Nile. We will have our lunch on the way and move towards Bhajyo where we will spend one night.
Day 11: Rest at Bhajyo
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Bhajyo. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Bhajyo and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 12: Bhajyo to Rachen Gompa (3240m) 6 hrs
From Bhajyo, we will take the tail to Rachen Gompa which is a nunnery. At the time of trekking, we will pass through several Chortens adorn barley and bucket fields that have been cut from surrounding pine forest.
Day 13: Rachen Gompa to Chumje (3230m) 5-6hrs
We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak before reaching Chumje. It takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Chumje where we will spend one night in this beautiful land.
Day 14: Chumje for Bihi (3130m) 4-5hrs
We leave Chumje for Bihi after having breakfast in the hotel in the early morning. We trek through the beautiful Sal forest then climb onto a ridge above huge rapids on the Budhi Gandaki.
Day 15: Bihi to Namrung (2540m) 6 hrs
We will take the route through the Pork village which is an amazing viewpoint for Siring Himal. We chase trail that stretches upstream on the bank of Deng River and we will have our lunch on the way then after slowly walking towards Namrung where we will spend overnight.
Day 16: Trek from Namrung to Lho (3180m) 4 hrs
The narrow tail makes some minor ups and downs and eventually crosses. We continue to Ghatta Khola and walk through a long suspension bridge to reach Phillim. We cross the strong metal bridge over Budhi Gandaki and trek west of the river.
Day 17: Trek from Lho to Samagaon (3530m) 5-6 hrs
The trail drops and crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal with close Ganesh Himal always close by. We will get a chance to visit the local monastery and explored Tibetan culture. We will have our lunch on the way and slowly move towards Samagaon where we will spend one night.
Day 18: Trek from Sama to Samdo (3860m) 4-5 hrs
Today our trail is uphill and we follow mostly the way gently up. We walk on this day have an easy, gentle walk today from side to side with farmland and villages to arrive at Samdo where we will go spend overnight.
Day 19: Samdo to High Camp (4460m) 5hrs
We will continue our way upwards to reach the stone guest house. We will leave behind the Budhi Gandaki River and walk through the trail that takes us up the acclivity of the high hill. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards High Camp where will spend one night.
Day 20: High Camp to Bimthang (3,590m) 7- 8 hrs
Today on the route, we can see the lifestyle of the Tamang or Gurung ethnic group. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Bimthang where will spend one night.
Day 21: Rest day at Bimthang
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Bimthang. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Bimthang and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 22: Trek Bimthang to Dharapani (1860m) 6-7 hrs
The trail winds through the villages and climbs a ridge topped by a large Chorten. We also pass by water mills, prayers Chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them.
Day 23: Dharapani to Ghermu (1100m) 7 hrs
We leave Dharapani for Ghermu after having breakfast in the hotel. At the time of this day trekking, we will pass through monastery, farms, and waterfalls before reaching Ghermu where we will spend one night.
Day 24: Ghermu to Besisahar (800m) 4 hrs
We pass through a beautiful village and cross the bridges of Dudh Koshi. On the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron and pine forest before reaching Besisahar. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Besisahar where we will spend overnight.
Day 25: Drive Besi Sahar to Kathmandu 7-8 hrs
In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive back towards the Kathmandu valley by the same route. After 7 to 8 hrs drive from Besi Sahar, we will reach Kathmandu valley. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 26: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
