Overview
Nar Phu Valley Trek is a real Himalayan wilderness experience that is as unforgettable as it is spectacular which lies in the remote region of the Manang district. Trekking in this valley is beautiful and unique cultures, nature, and religious and the typical lifestyle of hidden Nepal. It will give us a chance to experiences picturesque medieval villages, narrow gorge, herds of blue sheep and spectacular Cliffside trail, over one of the region’s highest trekking passes. Traditional lifestyle wonderful nomad landscape rewards one of the best explorations journeys in the remote hidden mountain valley. For trekking in this route, you should have physical fitness. We get the chance to see the beautiful views of the scenery, landscapes, a small village, and the natural hot spring. The people in these valleys have remained isolated from the Manang valley folk for the generation. A trek combines high peaks and passes, glacier, remote villages, high altitude grazing settlements, and unique Himalayan culture. It is a day walking distance to each other. You will get the chance to hang out with villagers in Phu while they go about their daily activities, as well as spend a night in the monastery. Not only the young age people can do this trek but all the age group of people can easily do this trekking.
Nar Phu Valley Trek is a truly hidden gem that offers trekkers a rare opportunity to explore unspoiled valleys that feature a mix of raw Himalayan nature and ancient Buddhist culture. We need special trekking permit for trekking in these beautiful villages and if we don’t have trekking permit then we can’t get a chance to enter these villages because this area is also listed in the restricted area by Nepal government. This trek is an excellent adventure and add-on to a visit to the Manang region or Manaslu trek. We will start our trekking from Jagat after the scenic drive from Kathmandu valley. We will be organizing a homestay trip to experience and interact with the local. Trekking to this exotic land offers Tibetan culture in undisturbed form, dramatic mountain views, and great alpine scenery. While having trekking in these wonderful villages, we will enter the Annapurna conservation area where we get a chance to see many rare, birds, animals, flora, and fauna. We get a chance to see the old monastery of this route. The perfect season for trekking in this route is between February to May and September to December.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Jagat (1100m) 8-9 hours
We will drive towards Jagat after having a hot breakfast in the hotel of Kathmandu valley. During the time of travel, you get an opportunity to see the small city of Nepal, wonderful landscapes, majestic views of the mountain, and many other things on the route. After 8 to 9 hrs drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Jagat where we will spend overnight.
Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1,960m) 7-8 hours
If the hotel is able to make breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and start our walking. We will have great views of the mountain, landscapes, and all the way and we have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Dharapani where we will spend one night.
Day 04: Trek to Koto (2,610m) 5-6 hours
The trail is steeply ascending up to Timang and you will be occupied with the beautiful Himalaya scenery. After enjoying the sunrise, we will begin our morning walk through the densely wooded area of oak and pine.
Day 05: Trek to Meta (3,560m) 7-8 hours
We continue the trek through the forest and ascend steeply towards Meta village. To reach this beautiful village, you trek through dense pine and red glittering rhododendron forest and spend one night in this village.
Day 06: Trek to Phu Gaon (4,250m) 7-8 hours
We will take a trail that traverses ups and down and crosses suspension bridges over various rivers and streams. You can explore the Tibetan culture, traditions, culture of this route and spend overnight.
Day 07: Rest at Phu Gaon
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Phu village. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Phu village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 08: Trek to Nar (4,110m) 6-7 hours
You descend to Mahendra pul trekking through a rather solitary trail and on the trail; you will get to the witness the mesmerizing view of Himalaya panorama, pristine alpine jungle. During the time of this day trekking, we pass through many Buddhist Stupa until we don’t arrive at Nar Village.
Day 09: Rest at Nar
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Nar village. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Nar village and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 10: Trek to Kang La Pass (5,322m) to Ngwal (3,660m) 7-8 hours
In the morning after having breakfast, we will walk towards Kang La Pass. After reach in Kang La Pass, we will have our lunch and take some rest then after we will slowly move towards Ngwal where we spend one night.
Day 11: Trek to Manang (3,540m) 4-5 hours
From Ngwal, there are two routes to heading towards Manang. We begin to notice a contrast in the landscapes and vegetation from today. The people are basically traders though partially engaged in Farming.
Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,110m) 3-4 hours
We make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marshyangdi village. The trail follows this valley northward, passing a few pastures and scrub of juniper trees as it’s steadily gained elevations.
Day 13: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) 3-4 hours
It is an uphill walk to Thorang Phedi. It takes almost 3 to 4 hrs to reach Thorang Phedi from Yak Kharka where we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountains and landscapes on the way.
Day 14: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m) 7-8 hrs
The views are dramatic, to say the least from the snow-capped mountains to the heads of the Kali Gandaki valley below and the brown and purple hills on the Mustang which is spread out before us.
Day 15: Trek to Jomsom (2,715m) 5-6 hours
We leave Muktinath for Jomsom. We will continue our trek walking by the bank of Kali Gandaki River and we will descend the closer views of Stupas and old traditional houses and civilizations.
Day 16: Jomsom to Pokhara Flight (827m)
Early in the morning, we will walk drive towards the local airport of Jomsom to fly towards Pokhara. After reach in Pokhara, first of all, we will check out the hotel then after have our lunch and explore all around the city and spend one night in this beautiful city.
Day 17: Pokhara to Kathmandu
In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive back towards the Kathmandu valley by the same route. After 6 to 7 hrs drive from Pokhara, we will reach Kathmandu valley. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 18: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
