Overview
Mera Peak Climbing is one of the most impressive trekking peaks. It is located in the eastern part in Solu Khumbu region of Nepal. This is the highest trekking peak in Nepal which is an exciting trekking peak and scenically beautiful peaks of the Khumbu region. The adventurous climb of this peak climbing is rewarded with breathtaking views of the world’s towering mountains. The picturesque settlement, quaint mountains along with the inspiring glaciers and ice falls and it is a blessing for those who can endure the demand for climbing. Trails in most of the placer are well maintained and stone paved. We will make our way to this peak through Sherpa village field with prayer flags and monasteries. Mera Peak Climbing is an exciting and scenically fabulous peak being popular among trekker and adventure climbers. This peak climbing trip is a rewarding experience as it provides glorious views of Nepal. Trekking along with humid pine, oak, and bamboo forest offer an opportunity to increase fitness and hectic with a subalpine zone. This unspoiled area of the Everest region boasts of beautiful green terraced fields, dense forest, rushing streams, swinging bridges, and yak pasture. To climb this peak you will need to have basic mountaineering skills. It is one of the popular and most well like adventure activities. This is where the peak its name from which offers an exhilarating climbing experience to the entire novice climbers as well as experienced trekkers. At the time of trekking, we will get a chance to see the wonderful mountain views. We will also enter the Sagarmatha national park which is also known for the home of many rare animals, birds, flora, and fauna. The expedition begins from Lukla after 30 minutes of mountain flight from the Kathmandu valley. Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you reach in Kathmandu valley then there will be one guide of our company will be waiting to pick-up you. And after pick-up, we will directly check out the hotel and have some dinner and make some preparation for the trip and take some rest.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla, trek to Paiya (2,730m) 5-6 hours
We will drive towards the local airport of Kathmandu to take a mountain flight towards Lukla. After reach in Lukla, we will have our breakfast then after slowly move towards Paiya. On this time, we will walk down to the Dudh Koshi River where we connect with the main path to Namche Bazaar and spend overnight in Paiya.
Day 03: Paiya to Panggom (2,846m) 5-6 hours
The trail leads us through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak. We will have a wonderful view of the mountain. We will have our lunch and move towards Panggom.
Day 04: Panggom to Ningsow (2,863m) 4-5 hours
This day is the second-day walking trekking where we will walk from Panggom to Ningsow? It takes almost 5 hrs to reach Ningsow from Panggom. Within the time of walking, we will have our lunch in the way and keep walking until we don’t Ningsow.
Day 05: Ningsow to Chhatra Khola (2,800m) 7-8 hours
From here, the trek descends to Chhatra Khola. We will have a great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain before reaching Chhatra Khola where we will spend overnight.
Day 06: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3,691m) 6-7 hours
Leaving Chhatra Khola for Kothe, we will start our journey after having a hot breakfast early in the morning in the hotel. We will enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain and landscapes on the way.
Day 07: Kothe to Thaknak (4,358m) 3-4 hours
We trek across a wide pass which is the much-wanted change from walking in a straight line. It joins the trail below through the beautiful views across the valley. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Thaknak where we will spend one night.
Day 08: Thaknak to Khare (5,045m) 2-3 hours
We will have a great chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Khare where we will spend overnight.
Day 09: Rest Day in Khare
Today we don’t start our trekking today is for the rest day. And we will take rest in Khare. In the daytime after having lunch at the hotel, we will explore all around the Khare and in the evening we will come back to the hotel and spend one night.
Day 10: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m) 6-7 hours
Having a hot breakfast in the hotel of Khare we will slowly start our trekking towards Mera High Camp. On the route, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, old monasteries, and the wonderful natural scenery before reaching Mera High Camp.
Day 11: Summit Mera High Camp and back to Khare (5045m) 8-9 hrs
Early in the morning around 4 o clocks, we will start our trekking. Today we will start our too early because today we have to Summit Mera High Camp and also come back to Khare. Today is one of the toughest days of our trekking.
Day 12: Khare to Kothe (3600m) 4-5 hours
After spending the wonderful night in Khare, today we will slowly start our trekking towards Kothe. On the way, we will have our lunch and taking some rest and slowly start the journey towards Kothe where we will spend one night.
Day 13: Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m) 5-6 hours
Today a steep descent takes us to a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Thuli Kharka where we will spend one night.
Day 14: Thuli Kharka to Lukla 6-7 hours
We leave Thuli Kharka to move towards Lukla. Today is the last day trekking in the Everest region? From Thuli Kharka, it takes almost 5 to 6 hrs to reach Lukla. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Lukla where we spend one night.
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu
We will take early the morning flight to Kathmandu valley from the airport of Lukla. And after reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and then after we will have our farewell dinner and spend one night in this wonderful city.
Day 16: Final departure
With lots of memory, you will drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu valley. We will sure that it’s not the last time in Nepal and you will provide us to see you again and give us a chance to serve you next time too.
